<Patterns of Symbiosis : 공생하는 무늬>는 살아있는 세계의 무늬를 탐구하는 미디어 파사드 작품이다. 앨런 튜링이 1950년대에 제안한 반응 확산 시스템 이론을 기반으로, 자연에서 발생하는 복잡한 무늬를 확산과 억제라는 두 가지 수학적 규칙으로 풀어낸다. 작가는 이 이론을 통해 자연과 인간, 현실과 가상의 경계를 넘나드는 무늬를 시각적으로 재현한다. 작품은 확산과 억제의 과정을 통해 생성된 다채로운 무늬를 선보이며, 관점에 따라 확산과 억제의 주체를 뒤바꿔 상호 연결된 세계의 본질을 탐구한다. 이를 통해 관객은 우리 세계가 얼마나 복잡하고 밀접하게 연결되어 있는지를 발견하고, 그 속에서 자신의 위치를 새롭게 인식하게 된다.

<Patterns of Symbiosis> This project is a media façade artwork exploring the patterns of the living world. Based on Alan Turing's reaction-diffusion system theory proposed in the 1950s, it deciphers the complex patterns occurring in nature through mathematical rules. The artist visualizes patterns that transcend the boundaries of nature and humanity, machines and life, reality and virtuality. Through the processes of reaction and diffusion, the work presents diverse forms of patterns, exploring the essence of an interconnected world where nature influences humans and humans respond to nature. Through this, viewers are invited to discover how intricately and closely our world is interconnected, and to reconsider their place within it.
